COLEACP PROGRAMMES IN TANZANIA

FINANCIAL PARTNERSHIPS

COLEACP’s activities are financed by cooperation programmes. The European Union and the Organisation of ACP States continue to be COLEACP’s main financial partners, and since 2016 COLEACP has been opening up to other financial partnerships (e.g. with the World Trade Organization and the French Development Agency). Financial partnerships may differ from one country to another.

CURRENT PROGRAMMES IN TANZANIA

Three programmes are currently implemented by COLEACP in Tanzania.
For the Fit For Market programmes, on a demand-driven basis, horticultural stakeholders are supported to meet market requirements and improve their overall sustainability performance: support includes food safety and environmental management, social compliance and overall business management.

“Thanks to this collaboration with COLEACP, we have been able to train people in organic farming and good agricultural practices. These trainers, in turn, train our producers.”
